I rather find this whole process to be a bit silly and overly self indulgent. I guess in a way that should make it appealing with my narcissistic tendencies, but really... yeah, no, not so much. But hell, it's a new year, right? May as well put this thing to some sort of use and have something to look back on later and see if I've made any sort of progress as a human being as time goes by, so fuck it, here goes nothing.
Christmas with the folks was nothing to write about, it was dull enough to send me packing off to the summer house in the Hamptons. So right there says all. Yeah? Yeah. I love the Hamptons in the off season, hell, I just flatly love it no matter the season, but there is something about it when the usual hustle and bustle of tourists and celebs aren't mucking about. I could easily see just staying there year round. Some of my best memories are from time spent there...
Had the unexpected pleasure of Addison's company through the New Year, not that I can recall a whole lot of the week - but what I remember, it was fantastic. I honestly don't think I've been so ridiculously drunk for that many days consecutive before, it was crazy. It made me feel alive again. I feel like I've been sleepwalking through my life for awhile now and I'd forgotten who Adam Beckwith really is. And you know what? I like me.
Been busy this past week getting settled into the new house and saying goodbye to some of my fellow Kappa brothers all while settling into the new semester schedule. First week of classes done, goodbyes done, homework done... Addison, martini's at The Liquid Kitty later? Text me, lovely.

Not much to write about really, home is same as ever and nothing exciting to report. However, good news lads of Kappa Delta Tau- I got word that our new house has passed inspections and will be ready for move in at the first of the year as promised. Merry Christmas, indeed.

Oh fuck it, it's funny as fuck and I'd almost like to know what the look on his face would be if he saw my ballot. The old man would probably drop dead.
I'm completely disheartened that Prop 8 passed, really didn't think that kind of bigotry still reined supreme in the Golden State, sadly mistaken on that I guess.
In other news, I'm seriously considering renting a house till the new Kappa house is completed, I don't think any of us feel comfortable here, at least I don't.
Izzie, are you free for dinner tonight, or still hitting the books?

Kappa brothers - I'm sure you're all eager for news on the rebuilding of our house. While we are most grateful to the Omega's for opening their house to us (thank you Peter), I know that we all would like to get life back to normal as soon as possible. Unfortunately, there is a lot of red tape and we have to try and remain patient. As it's looking now, we will most likely be staying put at least till the end of the semester. I'm sorry guys, I've done all I can.
In other news, apologies for being rather non existent lately outside of popping in for Rush events - I've had some personal responsibilities that I've needed to put as priority.
